Foobar ist ein kleiner schlanker Multiformat Music Player. Während sich Winamp immer weiter aufbläht, konzentriert sich Foobar rein auf die unkomplizierte Wiedergabe der eigenen Musik-Bibliothek.

Eine große Stärke des Players ist die Verwaltung der Musikdateien.
